LaPaw Animal Hospital was established January 3, 2001 by Dr. Deborah A. LaPaugh. We specialize in high quality Veterinary care, including preventative medicine, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, dentistry and behavior. We care about you and your pet and strive to develop a relationship that is caring, considerate and enjoyable for everyone! Dr. Deborah A. LaPaugh graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She moved to Oregon in 1997. After doing Relief veterinary work in the Portland area for one year she moved to beautiful Central Oregon. Dr. LaPaugh enjoys all the outdoor activities Bend has to offer including hiking, climbing and skiing plus cooking and reading too! Dr. LaPaugh has 4 cats; OG, Little, Thing and Mister; American Bulldog named Pete. Pete and OG are at the hospital everyday and will even greet you at the door when you visit! Dr. LaPaugh has a special interest in surgery, ferrets and other pocket pets. LaPaw Animal Hospital hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00am-6:00pm We are able to accept admissions for hospitalization, and surgery after 8:30am Monday to Friday. We recommend the Animal Emergency Clinic, Central Oregon's only after hours emergency and critical care facility. It is located in the Scandia Plaza on Division and 3rd Street for emergencys after hours, weekends and holidays. They are a fully staffed high quality facility, 541-385-9110. During the day Monday to Friday it is the Bend Veterinary Specialists, 541-312-2114.
